Industry reports indicate that Reunion Crossing will consist of two main components: a mixed-use retail and residential mid-rise building along with five townhome blocks. Artist’s conceptions of the mid-rise detail a stylish and contemporary design dominated by glass and modular blocks accentuated with warm, natural stucco finishes. The total number of condominium suites it will offer remains in flux as the developers continue to refine their plans. Sources a total of 249 units.

It has been confirmed that the ground level of the mid-rise component will feature:

  • 4,725 square feet (439 square metres) of retail facilities fronting onto St. Clair Avenue West

Parking needs will be accommodated in a two-level below-grade garage with capacity for up to 200 vehicles. A sheltered pedestrian promenade will provide direct access to the St. Clair Avenue West streetscape while also bridging the mid-rise and the five townhouse blocks that will be adjacently situated to the north.

The two-storey townhouse blocks will include a reported total of 104 additional suites, 20 of which will be dedicated as affordable housing as part of a partnership with Habitat for Humanity. Reunion Crossing will also abut the 71,310 square feet (6,625 square metres) of landscaped outdoor space exclusive to the 1808 St. Clair Ave W master plan. These shared outdoor areas will offer two fully equipped play areas for children as well as tranquil greenery and pathways allowing pedestrians to navigate the complex.

Reunion Crossing: A Key Part of 1808 St. Clair Ave W and Toronto’s Rejuvenated Stockyards District

Reunion Crossing will form a major phase of the 1808 St. Clair Ave W master-planned community. This ambitious DiamondCorp venture aims to bring a total of six residential and mixed-use buildings to an expansive site at the northeast corner of St. Clair Avenue West and 1808 St. Clair Ave W in Toronto’s west end. In addition to the six buildings, which will be comprised of the Reunion Crossing mid-rise and its accompanying collection of

Toronto’s Stockyards District is a historic quarter of the city that once profiled primarily as an industrial area.
